Step 5 - Listing your Achievements

About this step

The best way to convince an employer that you have the right skills, is to tell them about what you have achieved using the skills that you have. Think about the things that you have done at work that made a difference, then make a note of them. The more you can list the better. You can then choose the examples, which are most relevant to the job that you are applying for, to use in your CV and at interview.

Why completing this step will help

  1. Collect everything you have achieved in your various roles together to act as a reservoir of information for your CV.
  2. Make sure that your CV gets you short listed.
  3. Make sure your CV is relevant to the job that you are applying for.
  4. Differentiate yourself from other candidates
